Thanks for stopping by Rabbit Trails, our family blog where we share our love of life, our love of learning and our love of God.
Most of the posts reflect our experiences and what we have learned from 9 years of homeschooling our purple-loving, piano-playing, manga-drawing, sushi-snarfing, former American Heritage Girl, Home School Graduate daughter (Grace Notes aka Apple Cider Girl), soon off to enjoy all four seasons at Bridgewater College in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.
By family blog I mean that everyone contributes, although Mr. Garner has been seriously slacking. (Just sayin’) We also try to keep up with our Ultimate Frisbee playing, George Mason University graduate (History!), media-mogul son (#1 Son). You can see more from him at DeadBrokeNerd. You might see mention of Mr. Garner’s mother (Grandma Midge), my father (Papa Gene) and my sibling (Far-Flung Brother).
Mr. Garner likes fine wine, craft beer, bird-watching, mountain trail waterfall hikes, board games, pistachios, Buster Keaton, the Marx Brothers, blues and jazz and great films. Some day, he might actually write a post about one of them. Ahem.
I like long walks, used book stores, classic poetry (no free verse cheaters), choral singing, music of every description, Classic art, nature photography, embroidery, botanical gardens, John Stott sermons, Jane Austen books, dragon flies, fall leaves, lilies, tea pot sets, arts and crafts period furnishings, chocolate, chai tea (iced or hot), pears, and York peppermint patties.
We’re a family. 😉
Happy (Rabbit) Trails…
