Praying for the New Year

I have been looking, but so far, I haven’t found anything that I like as well for a New Year’s prayer as this prayer attributed to Oswald of Northumbria that I featured in a post a few  years ago. It seems to cover just about everything.  I find it fascinating that an Anglo-Saxon king and recent convert to Christianity can write a prayer that resonates over a millennia later.
