It was inevitable I suppose. While I find the Northwest Ordinance and its brilliant author fascinating, The Daughter struggled to keep her eyes from straying to the window. The myriad of math fractions, money, metric equivalents, and short division was done in record-breaking time. The vocabulary sentences which normally involve a whine and a negotiation attempt were completed post-haste. Our mapping and timeline activities were handled quickly and efficiently. Finally it was time for P.E. (and art)! Dad provided instruction!
