Upon being asked how the homeschooling was going: 

Student:   “Well, it is a bit mommyish…” 

Teacher:  (replying wryly)  “I expect so, since only your mommy would let you do your math on the dock!”

Student:  (with sheepish grin)  “That’s exactly what I meant!”
